Worried About Your Child’s Mental Health or Behavior?

Does your child struggle with anxiety, anger, attention issues, or low self-esteem? Have you noticed changes in their mood, sleep, or social life? As a parent, it can be heartbreaking to watch your child face challenges and not know how to help.

You’re not alone — and neither is your child.

How Therapy Can Help Children

Children don’t always have the words to express what they’re feeling, so their emotions often show up in behavior. Therapy provides a safe, supportive space for your child to explore their feelings, learn coping skills, and build resilience. At Root & Bloom Therapy, we work with children facing:

  • Anxiety, fears, and excessive worry

  • Sadness, irritability, or mood swings

  • Trouble focusing (including ADHD)

  • Difficulty with friends or social skills

  • Big life changes (divorce, grief, moves)

  • Behavioral challenges at home or school

  • Sensory sensitivities or neurodiversity (including autism spectrum support)

Our Approach to Children’s Therapy

We take a collaborative, compassionate approach tailored to your child’s age, personality, and needs. Depending on your child, sessions may involve:

  • Play-based therapy to help younger children express emotions

  • Cognitive-behavioral techniques (CBT) to teach practical coping skills

  • Parent collaboration to support growth at home and school

  • Strength-based strategies to help your child feel seen, valued, and empowered
