  • Ericka is a limited licensed professional counselor (LLPC), and her approach to working with folks is collaborative, affirming, and grounded in meeting people exactly where they are. She partners with individuals to identify where they want to go and helps navigate the many possible paths forward—often with a touch of humor and sarcasm when it fits. Her work is very much with clients, not at them, emphasizing collaboration, curiosity, and respect for each person’s lived experience.

Ericka also incorporates mind–body and nervous system informed approaches into her work. When appropriate, she may invite somatic awareness or gentle movement into sessions, as an option for folks who find it helpful. Her perspective is rooted in the belief that healing is not only about changing thoughts, but also about listening to the body and the parts of ourselves that have developed to survive.

She works with individuals navigating neurodiversity, anxiety, depression, trauma, identity exploration, and life transitions. Ericka has experience working with veterans and understands the unique complexities of military culture, service related trauma, and the challenges that they navigate. Her work with veterans is trauma informed, collaborative, and honors both resilience and exhaustion.

Ericka proudly provides LGBTQ+ affirming care and strives to create a space where individuals’ gender identities, sexual orientations, relationships, and lived experiences are respected and celebrated. Whether someone is out, questioning, not out, or somewhere in between, they are welcome and valued in her space.

She also supports parents of neurodivergent children and individuals exploring their own “neurospicy” identities. Above all, Ericka provides a brave and compassionate space for clients to explore, identify, and navigate their lives. She views the client as being in the driver’s seat, with her role serving as a map—offering options, insight, and support along the journey.
